Scott Keever and Greg Herriges

Scott Keever is an award-winning fingerstyle guitarist from Minneapolis, MN who combines an American roots sound with styles as far ranging as Celtic, Balkan and jazz. He has recently shared the stage with Phil Heywood, Prudence Johnson and Todd Menton (Boiled in Lead). He is a multifaceted performer who is as comfortable playing bottleneck slide on a resophonic guitar as he is playing classical or folk guitar. As well as being a solo performer, Scott plays guitar and Bulgarian tambura for Orkestar Bez Ime (OBI), an award-winning Twin Cities band that specializes in Balkan dance music.

Greg Herriges plays a mix of original and traditional “progressive world music” on guitar and bouzouki (Greek lute), with a unique approach honed by his studies of Asian, Middle Eastern, and other international styles. A virtuoso performer and award-winning composer, his music and writing have found international recognition. Greg Herriges is a recipient of composer/performing artist fellowships and grants from the Bush and McKnight Foundations and the Metro Regional Arts Council; a soundtrack artist and music director for film and theater; and author of seven (and counting) internationally published music books.
