Kevin Anderson likes to say that he is a “first-cousin-In-law-three-times-removed” to jazz great Bix Beiderbecke. This is of course meaningless, but he is fond of it anyway. He also claims to be a fingerstyle guitarist and vocalist with a diverse and engaging repertoire. Drawing from a breadth of influences, he seamlessly blends material that spans genres and decades. Whether unearthing obscure works or breathing new life into familiar tunes, his passion for ageless music invites listeners to connect with the intricate beauty of each song.
